One step forward...

It was a very good day today. Sort of. We had an interview this morning for a sales company, and I went in there with no hopes of anything good. However, the manager Sonny was a really nice guy, and we had a chat for half an hour about what sort of people we are and what we can offer the company etc. We now have an evaluation day tomorrow working 1:30 to 8:30 with a couple of other guys that will show us the ropes.
We also found an amazing apartment, and we could have moved in there next week... However we have to be students and hold student cards to get the apartment. We found this out when we had bought tram tickets and were on the way to view the apartment. Thanks "Rainbow". Stupid name anyway. And we dont want to stay in an amazing suburb or anything... Cool.
So we went back to see Sonny to talk to him about apartments, and just because he was a nice guy, and he ended up taking us for a ride in his... FORD MUSTANG!!! O my god it was sweet. So he showed us another hostel we can stay at for another week.

Current hostel: Greenhouse Backpacker - $245 each for a week. Large hostel, not very personal.
Next hostel: (Dont remember the name) - $70 each for a week. Small, cosy, activities within the hostel every night, friendly people.
In a word... banging.
So not all is lost. We can find another apartment, and we've got a bit of breathing space. We've also got quite a cushty job that will hopefully be sorted by tomorrow.
