Lovin' it
First off i'd like to say thank you to the employment gods. My job is awesome. I had that first induction day thingy-ma-bob and it was sweet. Going around with the nicest guy in the world (Dean) and just having a laugh. We walked around a block knocking on doors asking if people want to pledge money towards Médecins Sans Frontières. Pretty cheesy huh? But it's for a good cause, and at the end of the day you know you've done something worthwhile.
Today... well, what can i say? Let's do some more of that fascinating maths. I earnt $170. Thats about 70quid (no pound sign!). That was working pretty hard from just after 3 til 8. 5 hours, 14 pounds an hour. Nice. However, when people start working for Credo Promotions, they get an incentive. The first month gives us 10 full-cycle tickets. This means that we can double the money we make for 10 sales of our choice in the first month.
For this particular promotion there are 4 different types of sales. $20 and $35 in direct debit and credit card forms. I did a $35 credit card sale today which is the best you can do, and I would usually get $85 dollars for this sale. Using my full-cycle ticket I get 2 x 85 = $170. Hard stuff eh?
Wait a second you say... I got $170 on one day, for one sale, when I was sharing the houses with Dean... I'm still learning : ) So on average, they get 3 sales a day. At the moment that would give me 3 x 170......... there yet? That's right, $510. A DAY! Sweet.
That's the bulk of the interesting things I have to say for now, as it is all basically work based. Apart from the accomodation gods are... not very nice.
There may be some interesting stories of tomorrow night (saturday) up here soon. May be...
Til next time
Tom

Hello my lovely
That's a better blog for the relatives and friends - thanks.
Sounds like you're on the up with the job - just watch you don't get taken advantage of.
Keep looking for other jobs - bar work etc.
The hostel sounds a great place and very cheap so you're going to have to put up with a bit of rough.
Watch you're spending as we are funding you at the moment - save the big nights out until you are earning yourself.
Got very confused by the figures you gave - just hope some of it ends up in your pocket.
Say Hi to James
Take care and missing you loads
Mum xxx
